Who Is Mbili Findlay? The Driving Force Behind Atendi and AtendiCare

Mbili Findlay is the founder of Atendi, a technology platform helping home care and hospice agencies build referral relationships without hiring full-time community liaisons. This page covers his background, what led to Atendi, and the product strategy behind AtendiCare.

Background

Mbili Findlay holds a degree in Business Analytics and spent the early part of his career in marketing and sales for insurance, hospitality, and technology brands, where he developed the analytical and operational foundations he later applied to healthcare.

His work reflects a consistent focus on building scalable outreach systems, improving referral relationship management, and helping agencies grow without increasing staffing costs.

The Origin of Atendi

The shift toward home care came from a personal experience. Mbili’s grandmother went through a hospitalization that better home care could have prevented. None of the agencies serving her area were connected to her doctor, her discharge planner, or the social worker handling her case. The referral that should have happened never did.

That gap became the founding thesis of Atendi.

Understanding Atendi

Atendi is not a home care provider. It is a technology platform and company that supports home care and hospice organizations with referral operations, outreach, and workflow automation. The goal is to help agencies grow admissions through better systems and stronger relationships with the people who refer patients to care.

The Product Vision Behind AtendiCare

Mbili built AtendiCare to solve a specific operational problem: home care agencies know where their referrals should come from, but most struggle to maintain the relationships that actually produce.

AtendiCare combines a team that handles outreach with a platform that tracks every contact, every meeting, and every referral. It enables agencies to identify and connect with new referral partners, manage relationships with facilities and professionals, track outreach activity, and build structured referral pipelines.

The product is built specifically for home care and hospice agencies. It is not a general-purpose CRM and not a marketing agency dashboard. Every feature exists because home care agencies asked for it.
